Clinical Pilates is a form of exercise designed to strengthen and stabilise the core in order to more effectively use your body. It differs from standard Pilates by focusing on improves exercise and sporting performance and injury rehabilitation recovery.
Clinical Pilates is a proven method for pain reduction, injury management and increased athletic performance.
Our principal instructor, Oliver, has practiced Pilates for over 20 years and has been teaching for 11 years. As a physio and former dancer with the Australian Ballet Oliver has extensive experience in helping people of all levels achieve their goals.
STC offers a range of Pilates suitable for anyone from the complete beginner to the elite athlete, we offer group, semi-private and private classes and can cater for pre and post natal clients.
antenatal and postnatal pilates
STC offers antenatal and postnatal pilates; specific classes designed to suit the needs of pre and post-natal women run by a qualified physiotherapist.
If you’re expecting, come along at 5:30-6:30pm every Wednesday to our antenatal class.
Postnatal mums and bubs classes will take you through a series of exercises used to regain and build abdominal control and strength, increase general mobility, and generally improve your bodily awareness, while bonding with your baby.
We understand that changes to your body while pregnant and after giving birth can be challenging. At STC, we offer you a safe and comfortable environment to get your body in the best shape possible, with our friendly instructor Kylie.
