How We Assess Your Injury

Combined with objective testing and thorough history taking, we will accurately assess the extent of an injury, as well as identify specific deficits in strength, balance, and movement that may have led to the injury developing or aid in the rehabilitation process. This precise data collection and analysis allows our physiotherapists to develop highly targeted and effective rehabilitation plans.

What to Expect From Your Rehabilitation Program

Each rehabilitation program is tailored to the individual's unique needs, ensuring a customised approach to every recovery. We track progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment protocols as needed, ensuring a safe and efficient return to peak performance. This frequent remeasuring and monitoring and objective help us track improvements and adapt the rehabilitation plan to optimise recovery and prevent future injuries.

The STC High Performance Rehabilitation Method

1. Initial Assessment and Testing
  • Thorough and detailed assessment and testing.
  • All relevant data and information is collected.
  • Goals and expectations clearly defined and agreed upon (we all have to be on the same page).
2. Analysis and Planning
  • All data and findings are analysed to provide an accurate diagnosis, prognosis, plan and program.
  • We will identify any potential areas of weakness/reduced mobility/concern that may have led to your conditioning developing to prevent the injury reoccurring.
  • We will provide a tailored and highly specific rehabilitation programming to provide a platform for pathological healing as well as addressing any other issues identified in the screening process.
3. Treatment and Recovery
  • Our excellent hands-on skills are used to aid in your recovery.
  • Recovery is fundamental to your performance; we will provide strategies and information to ensure you are able to recover from the demands placed on your body.
4. Program Implementation and Monitoring
  • Regular check-ins ensure you are achieving each milestone without delay, of course not every recovery will be a linear journey, but frequent contact and tweaking, ensures the process is as smooth as possible.

  • Our supervised rehab classes provide an environment in which you can follow your individual rehab program under the supervision and guidance of a physiotherapist.
