Units Delivered
Option 1: Sports Trainer Level 1 Course (with First Aid & CPR)
Includes the following nationally recognised units of competency:
- SISSS00118 – Sports Trainer Level 1
- HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid
- SISSSCO015 – Prepare participants for sport competition
- SISSSPT001 – Implement sport injury prevention and management strategies
Option 2: Sports Trainer Level 1 Course (Sports Trainer component only)
For participants who already hold HLTAID009 and HLTAID011.
Includes:
- SISSS00118 – Sports Trainer Level 1
- SISSSCO015 – Prepare participants for sport competition
- SISSSPT001 – Implement sport injury prevention and management strategies
Delivery & Duration
- Online learning component completed prior to face-to-face training
- Face-to-face practical: 8 hours of in-person delivery
- Highly interactive with live demonstrations, taping workshops, and scenario-based learning
Assessment
- Practical scenarios: CPR, injury management, and sports taping
- Written theory: Multiple-choice and short-answer questions
Certification
- Training and assessed delivered on behalf of Allens Training Pty Ltd RTO #90909
- No renewal required
