Alice completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree at University of Canberra in 2017. She is a keen sportswoman with a passion for football (soccer) and futsal, having played both at state level and in the Canberra Premier League for over 10 years. Through her passion for sport Alice has developed a particular interest in sports injuries and prevention, in particular knee injuries. Her honours thesis investigated the influence of body morphology on knee joint movement and through this she developed a further interest in knee injuries and orthopaedic rehabilitation. Alice is currently undergoing her own rehabilitation following an ACL injury and so has a particularly acute understanding of the rehabilitation process!
Alice has worked with a number of football teams across Canberra, including Canberra Croatia FC, with the Tuggeranong Bushrangers RLFC and previously with Daramalan College first XV rugby and various other teams. Alice is a qualified pilates instructor and has a background of teaching both matwork and reformer pilates.
Outside of work and sport, Alice loves to head outdoors to the coast or mountains, mountain biking, paddle boarding and snow boarding, and to spend time with family and friends.
