James is a Canberra local who has a diverse sporting background, ranging from recreational sports to competing at the national level in track and field. His sporting experiences, along with his university studies, have ignited a deep passion for helping others achieve their goals and unlock their full potential.
In 2024, James completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra, where he undertook a clinical placement with SportsTec/Canberra United in mid 2024. Following the completion of his studies, James continued his journey with an internship at Canberra United from late 2024 to present. In addition to his work with Canberra United, James has served as a sports trainer for the Woden Valley Rams Rugby League Club and as a physiotherapist for the Vanuatu National Women’s Football Team, helping athletes recover and perform at their best. His experience in both on- and off-field injury management has fueled his passion for addressing the small details - those crucial 1%ers - to get athletes back on the field injury-free.
James is particularly passionate about injury management and rehabilitation, especially in elite sports. His background in both football and elite-level track and field (specialising in middle-distance running himself) has sparked a strong interest in knee and ankle injuries.
Whether you're a competitive athlete, a casual sports enthusiast, someone looking to stay active, or anything in between - James is dedicated to supporting your recovery journey and helping you perform at your peak. Book a session with him today!
