Kristen has been a dietitian for almost 10 years and has experience with broad range of topics including sports nutrition, eating disorders, weight loss, diabetes prevention and management, and fertility and perinatal nutrition. She also spent 10 years in the fitness industry as a certified group fitness instructor and previously coached cross country and athletics full-time.
In the States, Kristen spent 5 seasons as the contract sports nutrition dietitian for the MLS Houston Dynamo (professional men’s soccer) and 2 seasons working with the professional ballet dancers of the Houston Ballet. She also spent a short time with Rice University Athletics, an NCAA Division 1 school, working with volleyball, swimming, baseball, cross country and athletics, and tennis.
Kristen is a former NCAA All-American for athletics, competing three times at the national championships on a 4x400m relay which placed 3rd (Indoors) and 5th and 9th (Outdoors). Through year 12 she also played volleyball, basketball, and soccer. After uni, she participated in a few endurance events including a full ironman triathlon in 2018. Kristen now considers herself in retirement while she spends time with her growing family.
