Health fund & Medicare rebates available!

A safe and secure way of getting evidence based injury management

With the advent of COVID-19 virus we understand and value that individuals may choose to or are forced to stay home.

Fortunately we are able to offer online physiotherapy through Telehealth, which has been proven to be as effective as face to face physiotherapy for appropriate injuries and with capable clinicians. We will be using an application called Cliniko; this will allow private and confidential video conferences with your physiotherapist.

STC has adapted to the COVID-19 crisis:

For those that do not need hands-on treatment or are in the vulnerable person category we are now offering online physiotherapy and online classes, which are rebatable by health funds.

We are still offering face to face physiotherapy services for those with significant musculoskeletal pain or post-surgical rehabilitation, this may change if the crisis escalates

Medicare rebates The Australian Government has announced that allied health providers that deliver Chronic Disease Management (CDM) eligible services can now do so via Telehealth.

Private Health Fund rebates Health funds will be offering rebates for allied health services that can be delivered via Telehealth. These include Physiotherapy and Exercise physiology.

We are excited to offer this new service to our clients and will be continuing this service long after this crisis to assist people in remote locations or who have difficult schedules.

We are offering several classes online including rehabilitation, Pilates and Mums & Bubs Pilates.
